Why don't potato chips come in boxes like breakfast cereal? I feel like that would greatly increase the probability of said chips making it to the end consumer predominantly still in chip form (as opposed to crispy potato crumbs).

There IS an audience for it. We're out here. Maybe it's just that it takes a while to find its audience (example: Blade Runner), and in today's world the studios have forgotten how to value the slow burn.

Moonhaven. Finished ep6. Now I'm even more mad it got cancelled. This was "good old-fashioned sci-fi". Ya know with lots of abstraction and allegory. So much so, that I'd assumed it was based on a book(s). Told myself I could just go read the rest of it now. Buuuut... Psych! 😩

side note: It wasn't Netflix that cancelled this one. It was AMC that originally axed it. I can kind of understand why; it is a weird one and I can't imagine this would connect with a large mainstream audience. But damn, it was just getting interesting at ep5!

I've trained the algorithm well; Netflix is pretty good at recommending things I enjoy. But like a dummy, I started watching the latest rec (Moonhaven) before checking if it got cancelled. [Spoilers: it did.] Guess I'll just be thankful it's only 6eps (only have 1 left to watch).

Rewatched the Warcraft movie. Forgot how much I enjoyed it. It may not have been 'perfect', but it was way better than I was expecting it to be. I want more, but I wish they would do a high-budget TV series. I might finally be able to actually follow the whole story of this game.
