For perspective, bitcoin is smaller than Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Alphabet. Its smaller than gold and the US dollar by a significant margin. For its use case, if it were successful, it should be bigger than gold and the US dollar at least, and close to the total supply of money available today. And that is still 60x-70x from where Bitcoin is today. Not to say that this is a guarantee, but a possibility if it succeeds.

History has a tendency to repeat itself. Not because we are necessarily destined to do so, but rather because our memories have a relatively short timescale (some argue 3 generations). If we only focus on this short roughly 100 years we lose sight of the reasons for prior failures. This is absolutely playing out in money and our fiat system. Not because of the money itself, but because of the human behaviour with money.

Through my reading of economics and money with my lens on human behaviour, there are so many references to human nature that are rarely resolved. While the sentiment behind this has been complexity, we are now at a technological level we can start to address it, and it's my assertion that #Bitcoin is the first solution to do so.

I've stolen @RobertGreene and @RyanHoliday research system for my book on #bitcoin and it's fundamental principles. I can say that it's night and day vs my previous #AI heavy approach. I'm coming up with ideas that are significantly more interesting this way. The downside is it will take longer, but will definitely be worth it

An idea that has intrigued me in Dawkins 'The Selfish Gene' is his sentiment that he doesn't want to conflate his work in evolution and morality. From my preliminary reading of this and Steven Pinkers a work, this conflation of morality, ego and science is what has led to the architecting of our civilisations systems that is destroying prosperity because the incentives are all wrong. It's going to be a key theme in my book on how #bitcoin solves this

Current book I'm on as part of my research into #Bitcoin fundamentals. My thesis being Bitcoin solves for human behaviour take an evolutionary biology and psychology framework and this is so far is providing an interesting lens to look at evolution and adpation. But importantly for the book a way to look at morality and behaviour which I can already see in Bitcoin and money more broadly.

Those that have noticed me go quiet, this is why. I've been working on my booking exploring Bitcoins fundamental principles. It started with an AI first approach to the research but after 3 months I realised I was losing the creative leaps, I had a lot of blind spots and the writing was very dry. I've switched back to deep research and this bookcase is the collection of foundational books that will underpin mine. Almost half way through the research and will start writing at some point in May

I literally corrected myself to my wife on the numbers here after seeing all the media reporting the 100,000 number. As a Bitcoiner I should know better that twitter is likely going to be more honest than mainstream.
