The smart contract protocol enables any primitive to be used, zkemail, zktls etc so there is a way There is also some nuance here. Even in zkTLS, you are trusting an attestor private key to sign over an encrypted payload once it verifies the ZKPs. You could put the zkTLS attestor in a TEE which is basically the same trust assumption as the flow we have enabled

@Param_eth does TVL actually reflect activity on Canton? Since it uses single sided ledgers it doesn't really seem like a good measure? Fees are high so there must be activity (lots of settlement and then on/off ramps?).
