With a strong 7.7% Real GDP and 7.9% GVA growth in FY 2025- 26, India's economy pulls ahead despite global challenges!

At a time when many countries are facing economic uncertainty, India continues to stand out as the world’s fastest-growing major economy. India’s economy grew by 7.7% in FY 2025–26, with growth accelerating to 7.8% in the fourth quarter, underscoring its resilience and underlying strength built over the last 12 years through the mantra of “Reform, Perform, Transform.”
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi, India has combined economic growth with stability, confidence, sustainability, and credibility. His unwavering commitment to nation-building, focus on innovation, infrastructure, and entrepreneurship, and ability to steer the country through unprecedented global challenges have transformed India into a confident, resilient, and globally respected economic power. As India marches towards the vision of Viksit Bharat, this remarkable growth story continues to create new opportunities and strengthen the aspirations of 140 crore Indians.
Real GDP has been estimated to grow by 7.7% in FY 2025-26 (PE)
Real GVA has grown by 7.9% in FY 2025-26. (PE)
Real GDP and Real GVA have been estimated to grow by 7.8% and 7.9%, respectively, in Q4 of FY 2025-26. (PE)
Notably, Manufacturing, Trade, Repair, Hotels, Transport, Communication & Services related to Broadcasting, Storage and Financial, Real Estate & Professional Services sectors have attained double-digit growth at both Constant and Current Prices in FY 2025-26.

Despite global shocks and uncertainties, India’s economic engine delivers GDP growth rate of 7.7% in FY 2025-26 and 7.8% in Q4 of FY 2025-26.
A testament to taking forward the reform agenda.
The visionary economic reforms initiated by PM Shri @narendramodi Ji continue to fuel economic prosperity, making India the fastest-growing major economy in the world.
India's growth at 7.7%, surpassing every major economy, at a time when the world is grappling with economic crisis, evidences the strength that our economy has acquired in the last 12 years. Whether it is the pandemic or war, it is the farsighted policies of Modi Ji that are sailing the nation safely through every challenge.

NSO, MoSPI has released the Provisional Estimates (PE) of Annual Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the Financial Year (2025-26) and Quarterly Estimates of GDP for the Fourth Quarter (Q4, January-March) of FY 2025-26 along with its Expenditure components both at Constant (2022-23) and Current prices.
