Video of the George Washington Bridge shows loose cement and clear instability. The structure looks worn down and unreliable right over heavy traffic. This is another example of New York City infrastructure in decline. Drivers pass under it daily like it’s normal, but it’s not. New York City is dealing with failing roads, bridges, and systems that are not being properly maintained. The George Washington Bridge is a key part of that. Decades of neglect have led to visible crumbling and safety concerns that should have been addressed long ago. Tax dollars are supposed to keep this infrastructure solid, yet here we are with pieces coming loose while people commute.
