The last month at Basedash was our busiest yet. Here's a small snapshot of what we've shipped over the past 30 days: 1/ Dashboard Agent: The first AI agent that builds entire dashboards end-to-end. Ask for what you want to see and it picks the charts, metrics, and time series for you.
6 months ago all my coding agents ran locally now they all run in the cloud and it's so much better. don't have to keep your laptop awake, can monitor from any device, your computer doesn't melt one of those things that seems minor until you try going back

We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer at @Basedash! We’re a small team building the leading AI-native Business Intelligence platform. BI is a massive market entering a major shift with new ways of storing and computing data, and deeper governance for AI agents operating on company data. We’re looking for someone with strong full-stack fundamentals, real product sense, and genuine excitement about building with AI at the core of the product from day one.

We've been launching something new at Basedash every week for the past 5 weeks. We're a small team, so we've been leaning heavily into AI to help generate all the assets associated with each launch: - teaser video - gallery images - feature page - blog post - docs page After 5 weeks, we've got it down to a science. One quick prompt into @cursor_ai (cloud multi-repo) describing the feature and everything gets generated. @Remotion for the video + images @astrodotbuild for the website changes @mintlify for docs updates This week's launch is Skills. 6 months ago I didn't understand skills they're just... markdown files? they felt like a worse version of rules (where you can actually define when they're triggered) but the fact that they're so stupidly simple is what makes them so good

6 months ago I was giving AI agents simple tasks. rearrange this, add a button, write a test. now I'm handing them high-level descriptions of complex features and they ship the whole thing. infrastructure, backend, frontend, patterns we've never used before. what used to take a human 4-6 weeks is now one-shot by the agent.
