@GiddyOnGaming All of the beings on that plane of existence are from actual mythology, including the cube. The cube is a representation of the philosophical “building blocks of the universe” ala Plato. It’s a conceptual “order of the universe” personification, thus the “void of space” in it

AFAIK the game isn’t taking place in Norse or Greek mythos. The afterlife she finds herself in is comprised of ALL mythos, not just the mythos of the prior 2 themes and seems to play around with the continuity of time.

I don’t see nearly enough people bothered by the Gelatinous Cube (a creature created for D&D and is found nowhere in Norse or Greek mythology) named Frank (a name that came about in the 8th century AD1) being in Laufey. It’s completely out of place in a God of War game.
