Bandenoch does well here. She's not coming from this in a polarizing manner, how many times did she blame Labour? Tribalism often starts with tribal politics. I would say that multiculturalism was/is meant to be about multi sub-cultures, not islands of cultures existing seperately. This is often the case so let's not dismiss the healthy form of multiculturalism. Her sentiment is generally right though. She isn't dismissing racism but reframing it.

The Britain Thatcher left was even more about who you know, and how much money you have. She left it less meritocratic than she found it. The UK has a lot of lost tallent due to this. Tallented children born into poorer households struggle to compete.
