If Friday's broad market selloff continues next week - potentially driven by further escalation in Iran, a prolonged Strait of Hormuz disruption, rising oil prices, and higher bond yields - the precious metals complex will likely continue it's sell off. Technically: • Gold has now broken below its 200-day moving average and remains trapped within a declining consolidation channel. A move to the lower trendline would target roughly $3,600 gold. • Silver has broken below support and is rapidly approaching its own 200-day moving average • The Gold/Silver Ratio has broken higher from a multi-month symmetrical triangle. A move back to the 200-day moving average near 68 would imply further silver underperformance If gold were to test ~$3,600 while the GSR rises toward 68, silver would land just above $50/oz—a level that also happens to coincide with the breakout zone from the multi-decade cup-and-handle pattern that launched the 2025 rally. In other words, a retest of the major breakout before the next leg higher is becoming a plausible scenario. Just following the math the charts are currently presenting. Charts attached 👇
