Yes, certainly. Think about the ecosystem dependent on the industry. Ignore the overpaid actors, actresses, directors etc. you have like 10 other departments with 1000s of people reliant on the industry even if underpaid. Multiply that with all regional industries - Tamil, Telugu etc. that’s massive

Maruti built on Suzuki platforms for 30 years and we know the outcome. Hero-Honda? 🤷‍♂️. Platform sharing works but only if you build something on top of it. Also, I’d suggest learning to use AI first, then look for multiple successful precedents from the past first before pointing out concerns (which by the way I do agree exists)

Fair point — but: Stellantis has deep Chinese platform partnerships. Audi is co-developing EVs with SAIC. Mercedes partnered with BAIC for local China production. VW's MEB powers 10+ brands globally. Platform sharing isn't laziness — it's capital efficiency. The real question is what you build on top of the platform. Software. Design. Experience. Safety.
