@dgt10011 Where does the yield farming frenzie come from? Organic yield sources would be dividends? real yield from AMM LP or lending on MM. Or is it more that you are suggesting protocols will incentivise with their own token to win over where people deploy their tokenised stocks?

Get a sport you are passionate/obsessive about and can compete in older age groups/clubs to work on alongside your work. A sport that will also give you a strong community. If you ever need to take a break from your work you can pour more energy into this. Surfing (longboarding for community, shortboarders are dicks), Golf, Jujitsu - just a few good options

It's still difficult to get crypto native exposure to RWAs like stocks and commodities. I spent some time investigating today, starting with HIP-3 markets. I planned to open a long position on copper to hold for 6-12 months, as I'm seeing a lot of noise about it. However, the carry cost in HIP-3 silver and copper markets is ~30-40% annualised funding, making mid- to long-term holds much harder to justify. I looked for spot options without the same carry cost but found we're still mostly limited to gold (PAXG and XAUT). I didn't see any other strong tokenized equity or commodity options yet, just treasuries.

I would really love to use these markets but the carry cost against equity/commodity perps are too high? Silver and Copper are around 30-40% annualized funding rate. Fine for short term speculation of highly volatile crypto assets but otherwise it's more rare to see short term moves that could make this carry cost worth it. Gold is perhaps more acceptable at around 5-10% annualized funding rate, assuming that's because the funding rate can be arbed against RWAs like XUAT/PAXG. IMO you would still be better to hold those RWAs if you didn't want leverage exposure (not accounting for points farming).
