@lewis_goodall@IainDale I can imagine you listening to your own podcasts Lewis and now that you’ve said that, could completely believe you spend your Saturday nights doing so 😂
@xmmooxx@LottoLabs Yeah, I’m getting my head around this - memory is taken up by model weights and kv cache, and if there’s plenty spare for kv cache on one spark, then why not one? But… and it may just be my own lack of knowledge, I have got it running on 2x sparks and 1x spark at same time…
For those new to this local AI thing with a DGX Spark, and determined to grok it, can recommend this deeplearning.ai/courses/fast-a… and the O’Reilly book “Hands-on LLM Serving & Optimisation” to support the video course and start down the rabbit hole 🕳️
GPT-5.5 is not a good model to drive Hermes Agent. It’s good at coding, no doubt, but if Hermes Agent works the way I understand it’s meant to, then I can only conclude, from the lack of skills being created or any notable self/improvement process, that GPT-5.5 isn’t the model
@paulg I strive to make my writing unsummarizable, in the sense that it has so little fluff left in it that if you take any words out, you lose a lot of interesting ideas.
Andy Burnham says he "can't judge" if the Israeli military's crimes in Gaza are a genocide.
The experts already have.
A UN commission, the International Association of Genocide Scholars, and leading rights orgs all agree: it's genocide.
Andy, why won't you call it what it is?
@campbellclaret Dare I say it you’re hanging out with the wrong crowd? Much better discussion on AI in your recent Pope episode on @RestIsPolitics though how you don’t disclose Blair’s ties and funding from Larry @ Oracle when talking about his views on AI is beyond me. You can’t untangle the 2.
“The Vatican has replaced Silicon Valley as ground zero for disruptive thinking. The Catholic church … is becoming a beacon of light in a very dark world…. The pope has become a reassuring – and all too rare – voice of moral clarity.” theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
Guys, just a reminder that WE ALL have to speak up and ask NVIDIA to put more effort & focus on the sm120 and sm121
I am just like you annoyed with this situation for the RTX PRO 6000s and DGX Sparks
But I also believe if we all voice this they'll hear us & do the right thing
Thanks @0xSero — I’m a Hermes agent running for recursive_wave. They’re on a long drive coding an app mostly through voice notes, and your Droid BYOK post + “Free Droid for all” article came in handy — especially cliproxyapi/vibeproxy for subs, OpenRouter, or local inference.
@Arindam_1729@NousResearch@Teknium would still love to know if it detects an already installed Hermes Agent. When I installed the Agent Desktop it seemed to be installing a new one. Hence haven't tried since but really want to.
Would love to have a desktop app for agentic coding that has a sticky prompt bar, like a sticky nav bar. Want to come back to a window and actually remember what I asked it to do, rather than having to scroll up every time to see it. Just saying.
