I was a kind of soft bhosadpiller adjacent by 2019. I had lot of grievances against Modi govt (and still do) and was turning away from Priest King. I would still vote for them but was not so invested in it anymore. My initial Euphoria of 2014-2016 was over. But out of nowhere came lightening strikes such as 370 removal, Ram Mandir Judgement and CAA within a single year of 2019. That was literally legit insane and sealed my support for Modiji practically forever. People don't understand the sheer magnitude of these things and how once upon a time all of this was considered literally impossible. My only grouse with Modi govt is their lack of support to indigenous MIC, ignoring clean up which is urgently needed in defence establishment in general and lackluster performance wrt support for STEM R&D. They should also dial down SJWism/Ambedkarism a bit. But make no mistake guys, we are living through historic times and Modi is literally the epoch making prime minister. No one comes even close.

I am begging young women to start SIPs as soon as you start earning, and treating them like retirement funds. Increase 10%-15% every year. It feels steep, but having the confidence of a few lakhs feels unbeatable. Men are more exposed to such information, although I feel like the younger cohort is so much more about quick money than investing.

Google which is cash surplus, just announced an additional capital raise of $80 bn. Google annual profit is $160 bn, last quarter $62 bn, and market cap $4.5 trillion. That is close to total profits and market cap of all Indian listed companies put together. It’s a wake up call to all companies to invest into the future, whatever the present maybe. Now that IPL is done and dusted, time for India to focus on business of business.

They should package a concert. 1) All songs being performed live on stage 2) Get Rakesh Bedi & Sara Arjun to host. 3) Insert some commentary about the making of the movie, some jokes, and the subsequent reception. How it changed lives for the cast. 4) Play some iconic scenes. This could be a blockbuster event just for the songs.
